This is the last week of the regular season and it has been a great season for TWL. Although plenty of teams dropped for one reason or another, there were absolutely no complaints about how the league was ran or anything like that. A lot of credit goes to the TWL admins.
Now I'm working on a good writeup for the playoffs, so I decided to step down and let my boy Sye do some preds for week 8. Hope you enjoy it.

This is the final week of normal play before the TWL playoffs begin. Week 8’s map is cp_freight. The rankings next to team names indicate their week 7 TWL rank. One can only hope for the amount of train kills predicted here. And I do hope.
TWL Division 1a
The MOTW for Division 1a is easily the terrible vs. Exultance. The two teams have clashed in the past for excellent matches, and I expect this to be no different. The terrible will have to be on top of their game if they want to come away with a clean victory. Look for terrible! cake to dominate as well as one of their soldiers (crazy tom or volt). Also look for Exult to possibly run a heavy with itisgreen or possibly a pyro with the addition of pt to their roster.
Terribles 6 > Exult 4
3 Train kills (2 on volt)
Previous terribles vs. exult match highlights w/ train kills:
Crack Clan will take this match with relative ease, but that doesn’t mean Treason won’t put up a fight. Expect Treason’s Platinum (soldier) to do serious work against CC, but at the end of the day he won’t be able to carry them to victory. Players to watch for on CC are monad (scout/sniper) and beebop (demoman).
cc// 6 > Treason 1
1 Train kill
My match so I won’t predict. Instead cc//Vengeance will.
cc//Vengeance: SBU has a solid roster that's remained relatively unchanged throughout the season. Tyir and his cubs should certainly put up some resistance to DJ's crew, but I don't see it being enough to take them down. Bongos over Bears.
cc//Vengeance: Also, I'm drunk
°o Sye: can you give a score
cc//Vengeance: So correct any spelling/grammer
cc//Vengeance: 5-2
°o Sye: twl is to 6
cc//Vengeance: Train gets 2
°o Sye: lol
cc//Vengeance: ok then 6-2
cc//Vengeance: fuck you
cc//Vengeance: damn alcohol
If DL’s Dream Crushers decide to show up to their match, they will probably take freight with ease against Shears. With WW’s pro lineup, I don’t think that Shears will be able to stop the pure skill that they will have.
WW 6 > Shears 2
2 Train kills
TWL Division 1b
The MOTW in Division 1b is Propane vs HF. Two powerhouse teams that are quickly surpassing the barrier between mid/high and high will duke it out on freight in what is sure to be an excellent match. For Propane: watch wo0t for crazy demoman jumps and fritz to snipe well at mid. For HF: boogz will be clutch demomanging and St. Patrick will be playing an excellent soldier. The question on my mind is why HF hasn’t added paladin to their TWL roster.
Propane 6 > HF 5
If Businessmen doesn’t bring their pro players, I expect them to lose. However, I doubt that the EG players that they do have on the roster will fail to show up. KoG will put up a fight and probably out snipe at middle, but if the EG boys play I can’t see destro’s kritz stickies missing their KoG targets. Other players to watch will be cyzer on Businessmen and Daniel on KoG (if he steps it up to out scout one of the best).
Businessmen 6 > KoG 3
Point and Click should be able to take this with the exceptional scout beasting from slardel and general demoman awesomeness from chupa. Caboose will put up a fight with exceptional teamwork in the face of defeat, but it will not be enough to overcome the PaC crew
PaC 6 > Caboose 2
4 Train kills
