I’d say a real important aspect of this map is demoman usage. For the most part, nothing occurs at the initial mid fight of this map, except the occasional sniper pick … until both teams have uber and that’s when things get interesting. Most teams.. run kritz for the initial fight. There aren’t many barriers to hide behind when your opponent uses kritz allowing demomen to easily sticky spam any and everything that comes its way. The small corridors of the 2nd point also allow for demomen to easily control the map as well.
Another class that will see its fair share of play is sniper. During the stalemate mid point, snipers can attempt to get a few picks without worry about spam or jumping demomen/soldiers. Their only issue will be getting killed by scouts on their flank. The last point is also very sniper friendly. The long-walkway to and from last, and the sniper tower that gives clear vantage and good protection will make snipers useful. Yet… unlike on maps like viaduct, a team can definitely perform well without a stellar sniper or by running 2 scouts.
Complexity v Dynamic
Not much needs to be said here… the worst team in Invite v the best. Dynamic still needs a solid medic if they want to compete with the other teams… with that said, Complexity should roll through this match with ease.
5-0 coL
Complexity v EG (MOTW)
Back to back weeks of the top two ranked teams facing-off. Again, it’s not being played on a map that everyone would love to see these two teams matchup on, but it should be interesting regardless. Complexity has had a long history of doing well on this map, yet Destro isn’t half bad when it comes to the usage of kritz (something that could be key in winning the match). It might come down to that in the end, kritz v uber, with coL using uber and EG relying heavily on kritz. EG is coming off of a tough loss to Loaded, which probably occurred because of the lack of a Reptile, which definitely would have been game-changing; hopefully Reptile will be back for this match. Regardless, should be a good game, but Complexity definitely has this in the bag, as they continue pursuing a perfect season. Hopefully they can shake off the rust from not playing in a few weeks and come out and give a strong performance.
5-2 Complexity
Immortal 7 v Loaded
Immortal 7 just came off a strong win against Pandemic, but many would say they didn’t look too great out there, especially with how terrible Pandemic played. Ducky performed extremely well, camping and killing everything with well placed sticky traps and impeccable detonating times. Loaded also performed an upset against EG, although EG didn’t have all their starters in. Yet with Blight’s roll on Loaded the other night, i7 has more momentum. I don’t foresee i7 losing very often on these custom maps, while when it gets down to the stock, I’m not sure if they can play with the best. Expect tremendous teamwork from i7 as always, their main strength.
5-2 i7
Loaded v Blight
Loaded until yesterday surprisingly only had one loss. I guess a good amount of fortune and a lot of practice can help with that. I and almost everyone in tf2 are unsure about the whereabouts of Blight. It appears Seagull raged at ESEA for banning the DH making Blackstar the starting soldier for their ESEA games. I don’t think Seagull’s boycott will have a huge affect on Blight, as now the heals between players will be more fluid since Seagull won’t be playing to demands for more heals. Playing this match, Blight definitely will not be prepared which will make this a close game and possibly add on to Loaded’s luck. If it’s played, Blight will win because the quiet, yet underrated demoman in alexwut and of course, yours truly, Seagull (if he plays).
5-2 Blight
Pandemic vs EG
I don’t think this will be as close as one would originally expect. Pandemic is a strong team, but their play style isn’t well suited for this map. Fragile’s heal Reptile (TLR) exclusive play style will make this match a pain for them considering it’s a demoman made map. Destro will control the map as he’s successfully done in previous matches, especially as I think this will be another uber v kritz game. I expect Justin to do some work at mid as sniping, and for the Pandemic scouts in general to outclass EG’s. Yet, it’s not always about deathmatching, and Pandemic’s play style will cause a loss this game. Yet, Pandemic could prove me wrong if Kermit and TLR have strong games.
5-1 EG
Pandemic v Dynamic
Back to back weeks against Dynamic will provide two easy wins for Team Pandemic. Dynamic, can and will do well when they find a medic (apparently hard to find) and get back in the scrim pattern. I’m not even sure if this team will last the whole, yet I hope they manage to. Chupa last season was known for being really good with kritz, yet has been underperforming so far this season. Even though I don’t think Pandemic will play particularly well… Dynamic will just play bad.
5-2 Pandemic
Didn’t predict any MoB matches as they broke up. Hopefully they can find a solid soldier to replace Sureshot (their all-star) so they can finish off the season strong.
Also don’t forget to check out the postponed matches from earlier seasons being played this week. A big one being coL v Pandemic on viaduct this wednesday. Also alienware (Blight v EG) is scheduled for today on cp_granary.

The name of the map (Freight?) is not mentioned once though, which seems odd to me.
