Apocalypse Gaming: Easter 6v9 Game!

The Apocalypse Gaming community is at it again, hosting another Highlander Pubstars versus Comp All-Stars game! The Easter 6v9 game will be played Saturday April 3 @ 6PM PST (9PM EST). Three maps are lined up for play: Badlands, Badwater, and Viaduct. Each map offers a diffirent playstyle of TF2 and presents each team with a strength and weakness.

A highlander team can clog up Badlands fairly well, but the comp team will be blazing trails to mid and is extremely experienced with it. With complete respect, I pose a strategical question, should the pubstars even try to contest the initial fight for middle? The second map flips the experience card over, as much as competitive players play Badlands, pubbers play Badwater. The numerical advantage of the Pubstars certainly will help them push the card fast when given the opportunity. With the width of the map, expect big plays coming from flank attacks or the man with the knife. Numbers will again play a big role on Viaduct, although that map is incredibly small.

Will the Pubstars flex their muscles and suppress the Comp-All-Stars with their numeric advantage? Or will the finely honed DM skills be too much to overcome? For the rosters and a further break down of rules, go bump the official thread on the Steam Forums.

The sourceTV relay can be streamed by typing "  connect tf2tv1.aigaming.com:27020 " in the co nsole and there will be a mumble fan party at the address 64.120.126.120, Port 64841

Fatal1ty joins TF2 competitive!

After watching from a distance, Johnathan "fatal1ty" Wendel has decided to finally throw his hat in the ring and enter the competitive TF2 arena. Having enough backing from his own fatal1ty line of gaming products, his team name will be known as Team Fatal1ty. There are rumors of other Quake stars joining the team, Rafik "LoSt-CauZe" Bryant and Tim "Dahang" Fogarty were both confirmed to also be joining this star-studded team.

When asked about what he thinks about the current top players in TF2, fatal1ty answered:

"I'm sorry, you're going to have to speak up, I can't hear you behind all this money I've won by playing video games"

They have already joined the ESEA Invite league for season 6, and you can see their team roster here:

You can also check out Fatal1ty's official announcement of why he decided to start TF2 competitive on his official youtube channel:
