With all the news about CEVO and XPL and ESEA, sometimes it is hard to remember the smaller league, the one without the big names or the cash prizes. And that is why I am here. I have been brought aboard as a regular columnist for league coverage in TWL. TWL offers a great opportunity to bring fun back into competitive TF2. Without all the pressure and drama of the big leagues, teams can join TWL to just goof around, compete with teams at their level and get their very first taste of competitive TF2.

In my time here at CommunityFortress, I will bring you guys weekly coverage of the newest rankings and matches of the previous week, plus announcements and other important information about Team Fortress 2 on TWL. I will also be doing unofficial blogging about TF2 unrelated to TWL. So, without further delay, I will get started.

TWL News

The Administrators of TWL are looking for hard working, dedicated administrative staff for their TF2 Division. Admins will be responisble for the running of Leagues and Ladders and resolving disputes on matches. Admins need to be able to work quickly and answer questions as well as commit several hours per week to TWL. Admins must plan on playing for a team on TWL for the next season of TF2 and be prepared to idle #twl_tf2 on gamesurge. Division 1
Division One has essentially died, with only THPS even bothering to report the forfiet wins. But, just for sake of completeness:

Division 2
Div Two on the otherhand, is much more competitive. With heavy hitters like GGG, charles and the awesomely tagged Mongolia Thunderkitties, expect a close end to the season and a fierce post season from each team eager to show that they are the top of Division 2.

Division 3
There are no clear victors thus far in Division 3. While Ace and Synchronicity have pulled one more win than the next three, they certianly have not taken this division yet. Both Ace and nQa have been around this competitive scene for quite a while and are ready to show that they can play with the teams in Division 2.
