The Monster Minutes

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Boys and Girls,
Graham,

I've been mentoring more teams and people of the last few weeks than my schedule can reasonably fit, and in doing so, I've found that pretty much every mentee enjoys sitting down and going over a demo with my commentary and analysis thrown on top. I've gone over their personal demos, and I've gone over demos from better players to give analysis and explanations to illuminate their play.

The great thing about going over demos in mumble is that more than just my specific mentees can watch what's going down. That's why I've decided to make the whole process of demo review a regular thing. Starting tonight, late(12:30 est), I'll be going over some demos from my main mentees, cosmos, and hopefully one demo from a different set of mentees, and maybe one demo from higher level play. After every demo, I'll have a short QnA session where if anything I said was too vague I can expand on it, or if you noticed something that I didn't explain and you wanted it reviewed, that would work too.

Everyone, regardless of skill level is invited and welcome to come!

Connect info for mumble:

Then join The tf2 associated channel and from there the monster minutes channel. I'm expecting a fair number of attendees, so you'll be muted on entering the channel, but I could only get 4 in which case the whole experience will be more personal.

If you want one of your demos reviewed tonight, please send it to me with questions at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it !

Can't make it tonight? That's cool! I will record the audio and maybe even the video part with fraps and post the resulting video to youtube.

Specific map you want reviewed? Specific area you feel you're weak in? Want to schedule a session that will be geared toward your team specifically? Send me an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we can work something out. Critiques? Praise? Send that along as well, I'd just love to hear from you guys.

I've got an associated steam group to keep everyone up to date on when I'll be posting, and eventually I'll stream the demo and audio from my computer so that nobody has to download a demo and the content delivery system is streamlined.

Add me at http://steamcommunity.com/id/thebroletariat/ as well! If I get too full, though, you will probably be relegated to the steam group and removed. Sorry guys if that happens.
