Hey guys! Just wanting to throw out a quick word about TWL starting up, I know we are a bit late (due to some admin issues that have been talked about to no end) but Season 7 is ready to go! Full information after the break :D

The preseason is starting next Tuesday, after labor day. Matches will be scheduled over the weekend, but we do not expect any teams to play until Tuesday evening. You will have both weeks to play these matches (this will not be true in main season) and you do not have to play either. Teams will be assigned to other teams in their division. Week one will be played on cp_prolane and week 2 will be played on ctf_deliverance. I have one request to those playing on deliverance to upload a srctv demo that I could share with the map maker so he can see what needs to be changed to make this map more suitable for competitive play. Both maps are non-standard and should be a good way to shake off the off-season rust and get ready for an awesome season.

Teams will be placed into divisions this week. Because of the much smaller amount of registered teams this season (31 at time of writing) we will be placing teams into two divisions, with the top 12 teams being in division one and the rest being placed into division two. If, after we have assigned teams, you think your team should be moved up or down, have your founder or a captain email an admin ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Teams may be scheduled for qualifiers if we deem it necessary.

We are also needing some of your input. That is right everyone, just like always, we are putting on a vote! You guys can vote on map list, item bans and match format changes. Everyone's input is welcome, please no trolls... In other, very exciting news. Sway, our awesomely brand new admin (still has that new admin smell and everything n.n) has announced that he himself is going to offer the top teams in division one and two 6 SteelSeries QcK Mass mousepads. Thank you Sway for your exceedingly large amounts of awesome.

I know last season had a lot of admin issues and that made a lot of people fairly angry, but with our new admin team, I am sure that we can have a much better season. I look to you guys to help us out, be a little patient in the first week or two as we figure out what the hell we are.

One last thing, to the teams that do not have 6 yet, I am going to be contacting you in the next few days to see where you are with all that. Roster 6 up people because at the moment, we are thinking that there will be no signups mid season.
