From the CEVO site:
Out-Of-Week Matches:
Although week 8 of the regular season concluded this week, we are not going to go directly into playoffs this next week. Instead, we are going to have two weeks of out-of-week (OOW) matches for teams that have 1 or more forfeit wins (FFWs). Since FFWs do not count as much as 5-0 victories, the teams that have FFWs are at a disadvantage, in terms of potential CPI, compared those who have not had any FFWs. Given that CPI is the metric for getting into playoffs, we think that providing OOW matches is only fair. It gives those teams with FFWs the chance to replace them with victories (or losses) that will affect their CPI in a manner that better represents their teams' abilities. Up to two of these FFWs will be replaced by the results obtained in the OOW matches.
The first OOW match will be on cp_granary and the second will be on cp_badlands. Teams will be scheduled this evening for their first OOW matches. Teams may not opt out of OOW matches and teams with more than 2 FFL from the regular season will not be scheduled for OOW matches.
Playoff Dates & Map Rotation:
Playoff seeds and schedules will be released on Sunday, April 24th for both divisions (with all OOW matches finishing by Saturday, April 23rd).
Below you will find specific information about your division's playoff schedule...

Match Scheduling:
Matches must be played on or before the dates posted above. Teams will NOT be allowed to play matches after these dates barring extreme circumstances. The scheduling process will remain the same as during the regular season with teams making use of our match scheduling system. Should a scheduling dispute arise, only the match scheduling system logs will be considered valid evidence.
Playoff Match Information:
At least two of our divisions use the "Double Elimination" format, meaning that once a team loses two matches they are eliminated from the event. The team with the higher seed (lower number) is the home team and will be able to choose what server they would like to start on. Please report matches on the website directly after the completion of the match.
Dispute Guidelines:
1. All disputes must be filed within 1 hour of the conclusion of each match.
2. Any cheating dispute filed must include a paragraph description per player on where and when you thought the player(s) were cheating. (One-Liners will not be accepted.)
3. Disputed players will have only 12 hours to upload demos following a dispute. This is to allow for our staff to have ample time to resolve each dispute before the next round begins. If you are not going to be around for the 12 hours following a playoff match, send your demos to a teammate who can upload for you in the case of a dispute.
With that said, myself along with all of the TF2 staff would like to thank you guys for making our 6th TF2 season at CEVO a smooth one, and we hope everyone had a great time. Good luck to those participating in the playoffs!
