With CEVO Amateur Season 5 underway, and Graham harassing me, it's time to write about the top ten.
I will be making the top ten from all divisions because the Atlantic division is so small. Click for the full article...
1. Target Practice -
Captain: FvonD
Who's on your starting lineup?
Our starting lineup is myself on demoman, hoppypotty and corey on soldier, frederic on medic, and infusions and bah on scout
With a bye on gravelpit, will you spend the extra time praciticing against ESEA teams who also have to play viaduct this week so you can get your game up?
I was looking forward to playing gpit and I think it's an important map for a team to know, so we'll probably end up playing it once a week. As for viaduct, yes, we will probably be using most of our time playing that and granlands to fill in the blanks.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts to my team (hoppy, bah, fred, infy, corey, huey lewis), catastrophe who is always jumping in our scrims and being cute, scootah, our #1 fan taeyon, and the teams we've played in scrims and matches.
2. Chemtrail - .ct
Captain: LeRoi de Kish
Who's on your starting lineup?
our lineup kind of changes around but i guess now it's gobiner at medic, nephyx and resistentialism at scouts, emron on demo, and me and tarq at soldier
With a bye on gravelpit, will you spend the extra time praciticing against ESEA teams who also have to play viaduct this week so you can get your game up?
yeah if there are teams looking to do viaduct we'll go for it
a lot of the map from here on our are unfamiliar to us so we'll be looking to get pracitce in on them rather than doing badlands and granary all the time
3. Team New (soon to be "That Ain't Falco") - !=Falco
Vice-Captain: angry hobo
Who's on your starting lineup?
Our starting line up consists of me on pocket, rr on roam, thief and crazy tom on scouts, Tormented Soul on demoman, and Animalous on medic.
The next two weeks in CEVO see gravelpit and viaduct, arguably requiring even more teamwork and cooperation than a normal five capture point map to win. Do you think that your team has the teamwork and strategy to stay in the top ten?
If anything our team work and strategy is our biggest strength, so once we get our strats down on the maps I feel that we shouldnt have too much trouble with any team.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutout to El Mythical 23 for always playing back up for us
4. L'attaque à 6 - la`6
Captain: binary star
Who's on your starting lineup?
jeeka & guan - scouts, ctrl+f muffin - demo, nsx & binarystar - soldiers, cinq - medic

for viaduct i don't think there will be any problem since that's the main focus of our scrims lately due to it being esea's map for the first week. gravelpit is something we're going to need to work on for the coming matches. i would say that our coordination and teamwork is a bit inconsistent because there will be times where everyone's on the same page and other times everything will be a mess.
Any shoutouts?
shout out to all my niggas up in brooklyn
5. Mad Decent
Captain: cardboard
Who's on your starting lineup?
Scout: cardboard, improper, Soldier: Roman (Pocket), Dim and Doogi (Roaming), Demo: Outfart, Medic: Pancake

I definetly think we have the strategy to keep Gravelpit on lockdown. Being our favorite map we have invested a fairly large amount of time into creating specific strategies for certain situations. Viaduct is somewhat of another story considering there are very few teams that want to deviate from the classic blands-gran scrim lineup. Our team has gone through and spent roughly a couple hours going over strats, but it is yet to be seen how they play out.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts: First and foremost The Bedazzlers, Kisses for MedRed (We love you honeybaby), and our sister clan Robo Tugs.
6. Violent Revolution - Vir!
Captain: Tragic
Who's on your starting lineup?
On our starting lineup we have myself as medic (captain), pt_ on pocket soldier, green on roaming soldier, MR SLIN and flappy on scouts and finally our silent / quiet demoman terminator.

We've come a long way in a short time with the current roster we have. We are still a new team but extremely eager to stay together, achieve, have fun and win. Our teamwork has improved extremely since the day we picked up pt, green and flappy. We've had our arguments just like any team when we're in game trying out new strats or even when we're in our server trying to figure out what to do here or there just like any other team. Now that we have to play maps in these upcoming two weeks that require a great amount of team work, we've already started getting everything together to stay in the top 10. For example, when I came home this morning I got a text from pt_ saying that he spent 2 hours coming up with new tactics and improvements to the current ones to fit our playing style as a team. So, one of our main goals as a team at this moment is to spend as much time as we can prior to match time to go over gravelpit from point A to C.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts to my favorite medics who have taught me most of what I know as well as give me advice and what not: Grieve, Fish, Sigma, TheFragile (ESEA video inspired me to play medic), and PYYYOUR. Shoutout to two medics still in the low-low/mid level who seem to be coming up pretty strong Saint and Mala. Also, my team for just having the dedication that I have to achieve something and have fun in this game. And last, but not least special shoutout to the Vir community owners for giving tons of support: Ern, Rocket, Chuck, and the rest of you guys.

I do believe we have the teamwork to stay in the top 10. Have been playing together (except Redd and Para) for about a year and a half.
Any shoutouts?
I have no Shoutouts at this time, hehe
8. Semi Serious
Captain: KJB
Who's on your starting lineup?
Most of our starting lineup have been playing together for a while, our scouts are Curly and JT, our soldiers are Caidh and Scotch and I play demo. We recently got French Toast to play medic at the beggining of the season and he is fitting in really well.

In the past we've had some some trouble with Gravelpit, and we've never played viaduct. But I feel like we've improved greatly in teamwork and comms since the last time we've played gravelpit. We have a tough match next week but I'm optimistic about our chances.
Any shoutouts?
Shoutouts go out to Grieve for mentoring us, novice, Doog, Defiance, Gareth and my bro Lier.
9. Hitscan Death Machine
Captain: tenaciousg a.k.a. h2ther
Who's on your starting lineup?
our starting 6 is soldiers jun/superman/bill steed, bill joined us this week so he'll be put into the rotation and will likely see some starts but what we've been going with is jun and superman up till now our scouts are digital and starfire, we had chester as our starting scout but he kinda quit on us so digi spotted starfire looking and he made a great pickup, and then we got on medic judo and on demo me

our first week we had to play AG's jr squad on badlands, argueably one of the hardest teamwork maps but since i joined everythings been clicking so well we were able to hold them off in an OT round @ our last and push all the way back to win the map so i think we will be fine for gravelpit and viaduct
Any shoutouts?

Who's on your starting lineup?

The next two weeks in CEVO see gravelpit and viaduct, arguably requiring even more teamwork and cooperation than a normal five capture point map to win. Do you think that your team has the teamwork and strategy to stay in the top ten?
honestly we havent played gravel pit as much as I would like (some of the people on my team dont like playing it for whatever reason) but we do have like a main idea on how we defend and attack each point
with viaduct we have played on that map only 2-3 times but i think we get the general idea of what we should try and do and know what to look for (sniper possible kritkrieg) but we need more practice on that map
I would have to say that we are solid at g-pit but viaduct could use work. I really hope of course that we are able to stay in the top 10! but we will see what happens
Any shoutouts?
shout out to community fortress for all the great videos and info!
